Samantha won a local beauty contest in 1993 and went on to become Miss Spain. A popular model in Europe, Torres appeared in and/or graced the covers of numerous magazines from all over the world. She was the Playmate of the Month in the December, 1995 issue of "Playboy" and graced the cover of the April, 1996 issue of the famous men's magazine. Samantha subsequently appeared in several "Playboy" videos. Torres not only has acting roles in the movies "Gia" and "Shadow of Doubt," but also made guest appearances on episodes of the TV series "Suddenly Susan" and "Camino de Santiago."
