Ross was educated at the British School of Paris and Westminster School. He read Spanish at Southampton University before studying acting at The Academy of Creative Training and RADA. He wrote and produced his first short film, Boiler, in collaboration with the London Film School and seasoned filmmaker Richard Kwietniowski. Boiler screened at BAFTA and was part of the official selection at The Independent European Film Festival (ÉCU) and at The London Independent Film Festival (LIFF). With the same team he went on to write a short film, Naughty, for the Virgin Media Shorts Competition, which received an enthusiastic tweet from Stephen Fry and went on to receive over 7000 views. Alongside scriptwriting he has written plays including his most recent, TnT, with performances at Theatre 503. Ross was the face of Bentley for the Bentley Inspirator App and he has worked extensively in independent film, playing the lead role in both The Nightmare of My Choice (2016) and Make Room in Hell (2019). On television Ross has worked for BBC, ITV, Sky One and NETFLIX. He played the lead role of Sir Mark Sykes for BBC director Rick Platt on both Lines in the Sand (2016) & The Balfour Declaration (2017) and in 2021 travelled to Mexico to play MGM Chairman Mark Burnett in the third series of Luis Miguel for NETFLIX.
