Romina

Romina was born in Coral Gables, Florida and although not large in stature, this actress, producer, writer, poet and singer is casting a broad shadow across Hollywood.Romina's love of acting began at age 13 when she took her first drama class while attending Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. She has appeared in films such as "Wild Child", "The Insomniac", "Stealing Roses", "Pretty Rosebud", "Unknowns", "You", "Joshua Tree", "Why Am I Doing This?", etc. She is a series regular on the web series "BYRDwatch" and has also co-starred on various television shows like "J.O.N.A.S.", "90210", and "Saving Grace".She has written award winning poetry and is a published author with "The Freedom of My Eyes", and a children's novel, "Ika Zingly & the Peaklet Cave." She has also studied classical voice in Spoleto, Italy and her accomplished lyric soprano voice can range over opera, standards and contemporary music.Romina is not only enveloped in the world of film, but she is also involved in the technology community being the creator of Xachi Pet, a robot pet soon to be on the market that connects wirelessly with mobile devices. It's being released through Taptic Toys, Inc, a robot company she co-founded. This venture has also lead her to become the spokesperson for Double, a telepresence robot created by Double Robotics.All this regardless of the fact that she has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Romina has found ways to overcome and cope with her ADD to allow her to pursue her dreams. She regularly addresses ways in which people with ADD can lead a productive and fulfilling life through her public speaking engagements as a motivational speaker.Romina credits her looks to an eclectic mix of Cuban-Jewish, Dutch, Euzkadi, Spanish, French & Moroccan. She comes from a talented family, the only child of actor and fine arts painter Manuel Espinosa, who has appeared in a variety of films like "Warrior" and multiple TV series like "Miami Vice."
