Rob Torres is a talented Puerto Rican actor and comedian from New York City. Torres is the twelfth child of 13 raised in the tough neighborhoods of the South Bronx. His journey in acting stems from his passion as a writer, which began in childhood. This passion helped him over come a severe stuttering problem and led him on the path to earn a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts and a Masters degree in Communications from the NY Institute of Technology.Now, he is living the dream of a working performer. A member of Sag-Aftra since 1998. His movie credits include roles in Woody Allen's "Celebrity" and "Michael Clayton" with George Clooney. He has was also on ABC television's "What Would You Do" with John Quinones and appeared in a recurring role on "One Life to Live". Torres other acting credits include supporting roles in the short films, "Seeds of Power" as a thug henchman, "Adeelah" as an undercover cop and the $20 guy in "La Maestra". In addition, he recently played the lead and co-produced a short film, 'Nice Too Meet You', a romantic comedy. Torres is also a talented screenwriter. He directed a play called "Bad Uncle", an original urban comedy which debuted at Norman Thomas High School in Dec 2012.In stand-up comedy, Rob is one of the great young minds of the industry. He has traveled all over the country, and performed with some of the biggest names in the business, including Alex Thomas, Nikki Carr and Mark Viera, and opened for the Princess of Salsa La India.
