Out of 40 guys they only wanted one for the day. Malone would have been proud to serve as a Navy Seal. He was injured while in gun school and was washed out. He then moved to Minnesota to enter back into college, where he fell in love with painting and ink drawings and Acting. He was told by the acting instructor that he loved his performance. Over the years some have said Robert gives a Brando type of performance.Taking an Art History class with Rena Coen. Rena was the Cohen brothers mother. She let Robert video tape the slides. No one had ever asked her to do so... Most would rely on drawings by hand for memory reference. She respected his vision. Some had wished they had know about Rob's video copies, as he sat quietly in the back taking copious notes.Robert Malone attended a Midwestern University, where he received his Bachelors of Fine Arts. Studied film in the film libraries. Watching hundred of hours of historical old war news reels. Which were great reference for his war scripts later....Born and raised in the Middle of America he loved to explore. After college, he found himself on his first transcontinental flight and Robert traveled to Europe as a painter and writer and a budding young film director- Actor. The land was breathtaking and stunning. It was like being on a set of an Alfred Hitchcock movie set. The view from a lighthouse was death defying and being overtaken by the view, he craved to write more adventure films. He even slept in a German bunker just off the coast of Denmark for a few hours. Listening to the waves crashing his mind raced him back to the World War and what it must have been like.Studied acting under Jean Hammons and Bruce Bouchet. The duel coaching team from New York. He also coached a celebrity his first year in Hollywood ... the celebrity he coached comes from a long line of actors, since the beginning of Hollywood.
