(Actors Studio (NYC), Atlanta Theatre for Actors, Duke University Theatre, Florida Studio Theater, Matrix Theatre (LA), Public Theatre of Maine, San Diego Rep, Tiffany Theatre (LA), York Theatre Company (NYC).Robert won a Los Angeles Dramalogue Critics Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Role for his work in Judevine. He has appeared in a number of television Guest Star roles (Stargate SG-1, Third Watch, Dead Man's Gun, First Wave, The New Addams Family, Days of Our Lives, and others.) He felt fortunate to be hired to work in Kyoto, Japan to film "We Met in Osaka." Recently he traveled to London, England to meet with the exuberant and supportive fans of his character of Seth in Stargate SG-1.Robert served an apprenticeship as Understudy to John Malkovich in the world premier of Burn This at the Mark Taper Forum and three yeas later was fortunate to receive rave reviews from performing the role in a highly successful production at San Diego Rep Theatre.He studied Independent Filmmaking and Directing at NYU (SCPS)(2002) and is Creator and Director of an animated series entitled "LAND Of Zi", which has gained great attention at leading festivals throughout the world.He teaches a course in Acting for Animators at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), lectured on the subject of the Meisner Acting Technique at DreamWorks Animation, and gave private instruction on Directing Actors for Kung Fu Panda Director John Stevenson.He was first trained as an actor at University of Alberta's, Banff School of Fine Arts, Master Class and, on completion, immediately moved to New York City on being accepted to the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. On graduating he was invited to be a member of Circle Rep. Lab Theatre working as an actor on new works by some of the country's most prominent writers and artists, the likes of Ladford Wilson, Lisa Emery, Jonathan Hogan, Trish Hawkins, and others. Robert also worked as an actor on new works in the Directors Unit of the Actors Studio, where he met writer and actor, the late George Furth who would become one of Robert's most important relationships as Mentor in both art and life.
