Robert Bobinsky

Robert served with distinction with the United States Army-Military Police, stationed in Bremerhaven, Germany from 1983 to 1986. After getting his Honorable Discharge, he was employed in the western suburbs of Chicago as a police officer and detective. He received extensive training from the FBI and Northwestern University as a Crime Scene Forensic Specialist ("CSI") and a Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, and was able not only to obtain physical evidence which led to the arrest and convictions of innumerable serious offenders, but he also was able to successfully negotiate several armed, barricaded, and suicidal subjects into peacefully surrendering.Since 1997, Robert has been involved in the entertainment industry in and around the Chicago area, working on such diverse projects as "The Negotiator", "Early Edition", "The Lake House", "The Dark Knight", and several other films and shows, receiving a speaking part as a Chicago Police Officer in "The Chicago Code" and a speaking part in the "Bollywood" major motion picture "Dhoom 3" and the short, character-driven independent film "Knockdown".Robert is still very active in the Chicago area entertainment community, either as an Actor or as a Technical Advisor for several projects.
