In '79, Richard was invited to work for Twentieth-Century Fox Film Corp., within the feature film advertising and marketing department. He continued working with the studio for the next eleven years in a variety of departments, Learning the process of Feature Film Project Development/ Production and Distribution.As a top executive assistant/trainee he worked closely with many of the best in the industry, Top creative studio minds such as: Marvin Davis, Alan Hirschfield, Scott Rudin, Jonathan Dolgen, Sherry Lansing and John Davis. Richard spent the next several years working with Executive Film Producers in both areas of feature films and television production including: Larry Gordon, Michael Levy, Joel Silver, Steven Bochco, David Kelley and Glen Larson.After leaving TCF, he pursued production and joined the camera departments on sound stages, working as a member of the International Photographers Guild, later to be named International Cinematographers Guild Local 600, first as an assistant, then earning his way through the ranks to the position of camera operator. Along with film production he managed to study, writing, directing and acting with the very respected mentor/coach; Milton Katselas, teacher and owner of the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Skylight theater.As an Actor, Performed in many episodes of General Hospital in a supporting reoccurring role and has worked in over one hundred commercials since joining the Screen Actors Guild in 1979.
