Richard is now living in Florida and working as an actor. He is represented by Actors LA Agency and Managed by Jon Tomus Talent. He also coaches actors and business professionals to be "A dynamic truthful force for the camera". He served on the faculty at Michigan Actors Studio and Madonna University in Film and Digital Media, teaching Acting for Film, Appreciation of Cinema, and Performance for Television and Radio. Richard is a member of the Screen Actors Guild American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He has appeared in principal or supporting roles in seventeen feature films, numerous commercials, stage productions, corporate events, and industrial productions. He has co-written two screen plays and Co-Produced two feature films.He wrote and produced the documentary "Abound in Hope- Detroit Hope in Action". He has been appointed as an alternate member to three national committees for the Screen Actors Guild, is a founding member of the Creative Film Alliance; the trinity of Michigan State University, University of Michigan, and Wayne State University Film Departments, is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild Book Pal program, and has served on the Media Arts Curriculum Investigative team for the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards.Richard holds a Master of Science from Michigan State University. Previously he was the President of Michigan Film Group LLC. The company produced media for non-profit organizations and educational institutions. He served as the Academic Development Director for the former Michigan Raleigh Studios now the Michigan Motion Pictures Studio, and as the Workforce Development Manager for The Michigan Film Office. In these capacities, he developed the Film Industry Job Competencies, implemented the Film Technician Training Program at Wayne Community College, designed the Film and Digital Media Core Curriculum Components, developed integrated curricula for K-12 educational institutions, authored successful grants, and implemented the Film and Digital Media Academic Standards for the Michigan Film Office and State of Michigan.Prior to his entering the Film Industry Richard served 26 years as an Investigator, agent, and the Chief Criminal Investigator for the State of Michigan Racing Commissioner. In this position, he authored numerous policies and procedures such as: The Human Urinalysis Drug Testing Policy and Procedures, Investigative Internship Program, Investigative Procedures, Addiction Intervention Program, and Facility Security Manual. He led and coordinated numerous successful major investigations with Federal and State Law Enforcement, and served as an Agent for Federal Grand Juries. He is recognized as an "Expert Witness" by the Michigan courts and has received several commendations for his service. As adjunct faculty at Michigan State University School for Criminal Justice he taught numerous Criminal Justice courses. On behalf of the University he served as the faculty representative for "The Constitutional Democracy" exchange program in Ukraine. For his work Richard was awarded the Ukrainian Order of Excellence.
