Reyniel (Rey) Goyos is a Los Angeles-based actor and voice-over artist. Born in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents, Rey enjoyed performing from a very young age and recalls a childhood filled with doing impressions of others and trying to make people laugh. His childhood summers were spent playing endless sports including baseball, golf, basketball, and football. He credits his family with teaching him the importance of values such as hard work, dedication, commitment, and unconditional love. While attending middle school, Rey's brother encouraged him to pursue acting, and he joined the drama club wherein a passion was ignited. When Rey went on to high school he decided to put acting on the back burner, and instead focused his talents on sports. He describes his behavior in high school as being both a class clown and a teacher's pet. As with his prior years in school, he enjoyed trying to get laughs, as well as the teacher's attention and approval. While studying film and drama at Miami Dade College, Rey resumed his acting study and performing. His spirit for entrepreneurship prevailed over education, and he ended up putting college on hold to become a mortgage broker. He found for himself leveraging his acting skills on a daily basis to juggle the multiple personalities that come with working within a high-pressure business environment. While working as a mortgage broker, he continued to act and worked in several student projects for University of Miami film students. After becoming close with three other filmmakers that graduated from UM, they all relocated to Los Angeles and shared a home on Mount Washington. The first week after arriving, Rey booked a feature role. He is proud to say that since his arrival in LA, he has beat the odds and made a living doing acting and voiceover work for television. Rey has also landed several feature film roles including his latest role FFC where he plays a psychopath. Rey displays a versatile and powerful acting range that has allowed him to merge seamlessly into the colorful and challenging roles in which he has chosen to take on. Show less «

Mr. Buchanan, my high school acting teacher, showed me how fun and rewarding acting can be. I remember during a performance of Grease, after we performed Greased Lightning, an audience member yelled out my name and I reacted by putting my hand up and acknowledging the crowd member. When I entered the wing Mr. B confronted me and told me never to break character and the fourth wall! I'll never forget that moment. Show less «
