Captivating, funny, and passionate, Rene Porche-Poyraz started her acting career in 2022 and her presence has been felt on Movie Sets throughout New Orleans ever since. Rene Porche-Poyraz was born on September 10,1977 in New Orleans, La, to Debra Mae Porche, a homemaker , and Alton Reed Washington Sr., a carpenter. Rene and her sibling, grew up in the Fischer Housing Project in New Orleans, with their mother. As a single mother, Debra stressed the importance of education for her children. At the age of 13, Rene was part of the first girl Duo Rap group and found a love for entertaining. In High school, she Co Hosted a Talk Show on Community Access Channel Called Positive Black Talk.She is known for Renfield, Heart of a Lion, Jamie Foxx The Burial, Daisy Jones and the 6th, Queen Sugar and was featured in National Treasue.
