Born and raised in Germany, Reiner Prochaska moved to the United States in 1990. He began acting and writing in the mid-1990s as a student at Shepherd College, West Virginia, and as a graduate student in Professional Writing at Towson University, Maryland. His first novel, "Limits to Ambition" earned him his Master's Degree in Professional Writing. Today - in addition to acting, writing, and filmmaking - he teaches writing at Towson University, Shepherd University, and the University of Maryland at College Park. He is a member of the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick, Maryland, where he was most recently seen as George Jones in Deborah Brevoort's "The Women of Lockerbie." He also continues to work with the Rude Mechanicals at Shepherd University in whose production of Shakespeare's "Troilus & Cressida" last fall he played Pandarus. Show less «
