Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Ray found his passion for acting at an early age when he was cast as the lead role in his High School's theater production of "Grease". He then went on to graduate from the prestigious John Abbott theater program with several more leading roles under his belt. His first film break came when he was cast as part of the ensemble in "Obstruction of Justice" as a young thief framed for murder. Having decided to pursue his burgeoning film and television career, Ray moved to Vancouver B.C. where he spent many years building a very impressive resume both in front of the camera and on stage. Film credits include Paramount Pictures "The Core" alongside Oscar winner Hilary Swank, "Are We There Yet" with Ice Cube and I Spy with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy. Over on the small screen, he garnered praise for his guest starring role alongside Oscar nominated actor David Paymer in "Night Visions", had his first recurring role on the critically acclaimed "Da Vinci's Inquest" and another on iZombie as well as many guest stars on show's like Arrow and Rookie Blue. Ray was brought to Los Angeles for the first time after being cast alongside Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Tilly in the Sundance hit "Relax... it's just sex". He then spent a few years booking recurring roles in the FOX series "Saints and Sinners" and "Desire"... as well as the lead role in one of MTV's first ever web series "Connected".
