Rachel Daigh is an American Actress born in Phoenix, Arizona. Moving to Southern California, she practiced as an EMT while attending San Diego State University where she studied Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology.Rachel began acting at the age of fifteen, however, had been writing screenplays, short stories, children's books, and poetry since she was just eight years old. Her passion for all things creative remained a casual pastime even after her book of poetry "Angst for the Memories" was published in 2006 and went on to gain her Artist of the Month in her hometown. Rachel followed up with a children's book "When Shamrocks Smile" and has gone on to win several awards for her poetry. Additionally, she is a writer for the web series "Snowpiffs", has penned the recent single "Every time the Moonshines" performed by CMT's Danny Hamilton, and has drafted a screenplay to begin preproduction in 2017.Not long after Rachel decided to pursue her passion for acting and writing professionally she was cast in roles on Discovery ID series "Blood Relatives" and "Disappeared". Her breakout role as the lead in the feature film "The Carillon" directed by Italian Golden Globe Award winner John Real, is set to release in 2017. Currently, she is appearing as a paramedic in the second season (2016) of the CBS show "Code Black".Rachel continues to be active in Archaeology and cultural resource management. A self proclaimed "lover of the sea" she is a SCUBA Diver with Divemaster certification and an avid supporter of marine conservation.
