Portia Cue is a trained film and stage actor, voice talent, model, spokesperson, producer and business woman. She is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience.Classically trained, she has played a variety of roles from co-starring as single mother, Robin (Ghetto Dawg, 2002), to Lady Anne in Shakespeare's Richard III at New York's former Circle in the Square Theater, downtown to appearing as Laquathia, a tough, lovable cell mate and confidant, in American Violet directed by Tim Disney and starring Alfre Woodard and Nicole Behaire. In feature film, Champion (2017) Portia is Annabelle, a woman of faith who demonstrates the power of forgiveness following a traumatic event.Portia earned a Theater Arts MFA degree from The New School Actor's Studio graduate program where she trained with renowned vocal coach William Riley and studied dance for several years at Alvin Ailey School of Dance. She continued classical and contemporary theater studies in California at Antaeus Theatre Company.Portia has recently been cast as leading lady in faith-based film, Breakthrough (in production), as Faith, single mother struggling with her faith, family and future. Portia is also an experienced voice actor who's credits include animation, radio spots and commercial voice over. Her hundreds of satisfied clients include Cartoon Network, Gap, Instagram, haku app, Wheelys Coffee & CafĂ© and ICYPR, among others.Portia is a spokesperson and partner for GRC Enterprises, manufacturer of personal fragrances for the home, office and car.
