Peter Asmussen (born March 28, 1957 in Frederiksberg) is a Danish author, playwright and screenwriter.Asmussen, who is the son of Jes Peter Asmussen, graduated from Eastern Civic Gymnasium in 1975. He made his debut in book form with the short story collection Votes in 1989 and several times since received State Arts Grant.
