Croatian-born, Canadian-based professional wrestler known for his work for the American Wrestling Association in the 1980s and for WWE in the early 1990s. Teamed first with Nick Kiniski and then with Shawn Michaels as American Force in Texas All-Star Wrestling in San Antonio, Texas. He competed for years with Pat Tanaka, first as Badd Company in the AWA, where they were managed by Diamond Dallas Page, and then as the Orient Express in WWE, when Diamond, as the masked Kato, replaced Akio Sato, under the management of Mr. Fuji. He had a brief, undistinguished run as Max Moon. He has also competed for New Japan Pro Wrestling, the USWA, ECW, WCW, the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation (Maryland), the Continental Wrestling Association and many other promotions. Among his in-ring achievements, he is a former multiple-time CWA (Memphis) International Tag Team Champion (first with Jeff Jarrett and then with Pat Tanaka), a former AWA World Tag Team Champion (with Tanaka), a former USWA World Tag Team Champion (with Steven Dunn), a former IWA (Puerto Rico) Southern Champion, a former CWF (Canadian Heavyweight Champion in Manitoba, Canada) Heavyweight Champion and a former 2x TWA (Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy in San Antonio) Heavyweight Champion as Venom. Diamond retired in 2001, later helping to start up Rocket City Wrestling in Huntsville, Alabama, where he was involved with the booking as well as wrestling both as himself and as Max Moon.Prior to his wrestling career, he was a professional soccer player for the Calgary Boomers and the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League.
