Paul Damico grew up on Long Island, New York. Damico has a Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant/Institutional Management, an Associate of Science degree in Hotel Food and Beverage Management, and a Doctorate of Business Administration in Restaurant, Food, and Beverage Management from Johnson and Wales University. Paul began working for the Host Marriott organization in 1986 and spent his fourteen years with this particular company working on travel plazas and airport development. After leaving Marriott Damico went on to become co-founder and vice president of operations and concept development at FoodBrand LLC and chief operating officer of SSP America prior to achieving the status of president of the restaurant chain Moe's Southwest Grill in 2008. Paul appeared incognito as "Mark Richards" working at several of his restaurants on the hit reality TV series Undercover Boss (2010). Damico was named Restauranteur of the Year by the Georgia Restaurant Association in November, 2015 and now serves as president of FOCUS Brands in North America. Show less «
