Nari Blair-Mangat is a classically trained stage and screen actor born in Islington on 25th Sept 1986 to a Jamaican mother and Indian father. His film credits include Spectre (2015), directed by Sam Mendes, and Disney's Cinderella (2015), directed by Kenneth Branagh.He has a strong array of theatre credits including the lead role in Shakespeare's Othello and plays at the Royal National Theatre and The Old Vic Theatre. Nari was the recipient of an Ian Charleson Award commendation for his performance in Macbeth directed by Kenneth Branagh and Rob Ashford for the Manchester International Festival, 2013. The production transferred to NY's Park Avenue Armory in 2014 to critical acclaim.Trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Nari's first professional role was in London's West End understudying Luke Evans in Piaf at the Vaudeville theatre (08/09). His older brother, Rohan Blair-Mangat is a Cannes Lion award winning director working on his debut feature film The Boombox Project and his younger brother, Arun Blair-Mangat, is also an actor who recently made his West End stage debut.
