Nancy grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and has been singing and dancing since she was three. Her first professional acting job in NY was at the age of 10 in a "Spill and Spell" commercial. At thirteen, she was crowned Miss Teeanage Baltimore, the youngest contestant in The Miss Teenage America Pageant. She was also Miss Teen Southeast in Miss Teen USA and Miss Baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. She loved the travel and meeting people all across the country. A former Radio City Music Hall Rockette, she moved to Califiornia and was hired as one of the original Dean Martin Golddiggers. Nancy's biggest break was on Broadway as the original Standby for the role of Peggy Sawyer in "42nd.Street." She made her Broadway debut and at the request of David Merrick, headed up the first National Tour and the Los Angeles Company where she won the Drama Logue's Critics Award for Best Performance. Some of her regional theatre favorites are the title roles in "Mame," and "Hello Dolly." Including "South Pacific," "1940's Radio Hour," "The Sound of Music," and "Swinging On A Star," where she was nominated for a NAACP Theatre Award to name a few. Nancy has 2 children, Jason 25, and Nicole 30, with a beautiful 6 month old boy, Asher Jacob. She's been married to Dan Comins for 20 years who is the leader of the Titianic Jazz Band and has his own accounting business, DW Comins and Assoc. Show less «
