Nancy Daly is a very proud military brat. Her family is originally from Nebraska. She was born in Coronado, CA- her of Irish descent father's famous quote upon looking out the window was- "Holy Mother of God! Another damn nice day!" Her family moved east as soon as possible- she spent most of her childhood growing up in Virginia and Washington DC became her adopted hometown. She graduated from Smith College and studied in London at LAMDA. She worked up and down the east coast doing Regional Theatre- including Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre, Delaware Theatre Co, Virginia Stage Co and many more.She worked with Albert Finney, Maggie Smith and Jennifer Jason Leigh as their romantic and sympathetic maid, Maureen, in "Washington Square" which was filmed in Baltimore, MD and moved to Los Angeles soon after. She has appeared in dozens of lead and supporting roles in films- most recently in "Suburbicon" as Linda, the Secretary and many TV roles including "Criminal Minds," "Playing House," "Scrubs," "New Girl", "Joey" and "Homicide- Life on the Streets." She has played multiple roles in several animation series. She wrote and performed her One Woman Show- "Massage on the Flip Side- Beating Up the Naked People" around the LA area and is now finalizing her next One Woman show, "Living in Twilight- a Daughter's Alzheimer's Story." In 2011, Nancy Founded and is the National Team Captain of Actors and Artists Unite to End Alzheimer's- the only non-corporate National team for the Walk to end Alzheimer's for the Alzheimer's Association that has raised over $200,000 to date. She is a very happy Red Sox and Chicago Cubs fan and is very proud to call Washington DC her heart hometown. Show less «
