Milana

Milana has been hitting things to find rhythm ever since she can remember, starting drum lessons at the age of 4.Since then, she's been featured on Steve Harvey's Little Big Shots (2016) on NBC, performed for crowds as large as 19,000+ at Vivint Arena, was a Top 20 Finalist in the 'Hit Like A Girl' Global Female Drum Contest for four consecutive years (2014-2017), as well as winning the contests first-ever "Rising Star" Award (2017).In addition, she's been awarded: Downbeat Magazine's Best Youth Blues/Rock/Pop Ensemble Award (2017), the Soundhouse Outstanding Soloist Award for New Bop Big Band (2017), Outstanding Musician (2017), and the Producer's Award (2016).At 6 years old, Milana jammed with Stewart Copeland (The Police) and performed on stage with Sheila E. during her live concert, then later performing with again with Sheila E. on NBC's Little Big Shots (2016).Since then, she's played with members of: Snarky Puppy, Dave Matthews Band, Michael Jackson's band, Tower of Power, Neon Trees, Fictionist, Arturo Sandoval, Victor Wooten, as well as master percussionists Daniel Glass, Tommy Igoe, Thomas Lang, and Brazil's Dudu Fuentes & Ailton Nunes.Playing in performing bands since age 6, she was the youngest musician in the multi award-winning Caleb Chapman Soundhouse playing in bands: 'Jukebox Antihero' (rock), 'Mystery Tour' (Beatles), 'New Bop Big Band', 'Lonely Hearts Club' (Beatles), and 'Epoch' (rock orchestra). She and her friends also started their own band, 'BEKM'.
