Mikael Ayele is an American actor and filmmaker of Ethiopian and Swedish descent. He earned his first role at the age of eleven The Story of Jesus for Children, a film that was dubbed into over 100 languages and distributed worldwide. In 2011 he made his lead debut in the award-winning indie feature, Train to Stockholm, which he also co-produced. He has since appeared in several notable TV/film productions, including NBC's The Night Shift and Universal Pictures' Lone Survivor.Ayele has also co-written, produced, and appeared in multiple short films, including Sahara Drifters, which premiered at the 2013 Las Vegas International Festival, and Can't Fight the Music, which was a finalist in Funny or Die's 2014 Make 'Em LAFF comedy competition.
