Mickey is from Chicago where he worked on the stage. (not coach, acting), honing his acting skills on the Chicago stages, and working with the great John Hughes and John Candy in the film Uncle Buck (which he was cut from in the last edit). Under the advise of his late mentor John Candy, with his SAG card in hand, in 1994 he moved to Los Angeles, where he mastered the skill of working in front of the camera. He has had roles on many top rated television shows, working with the likes of Sally Field, Gary Sinese, Jon Hamm, Robb Lowe, and Anthony Lapaglia. In Chicago he performed with the sketch comedy troupe, Scrambled Egos. In Los Angeles he was a member of the sketch comedy troupe, The Hollywood Players who performed to rave reviews, and also a member of The McGillicuddys sketch comedy troupe, performing at Second City in Los Angeles.
