After The New Statesman (1987) I was beginning to get very similar sorts of parts and I just got bored. I really didn't want to do theatre that much. I was offered various tours and things like that. I'd done them before and it's exhausting. I was a bit like my father in that respect - he called it 'all that shouting in the evening'. Show less «
