Michael Eric Reid (aka Mikey Reid) was born on a cold winters day in the Bronx, New York in Jacobi Hospital. He has always had a burning desire to perform, and as a young child would often imitate characters he saw on TV. He booked his first audition at the age of 5 for the Nickelodeon series "Emergency: Ask a Kid." and played a dying poison victim. He then continued on to book many TV commercials and radio ads. At age 8, he appeared in the Nickelodeon pilot "The Difference."Mikey made his Off-Broadway theatre debut at the age of 10 as Mamillious in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale starring opposite David Strathairn. His reviews were outstanding and he quickly landed more theatre roles including playing Eyolf in "Little Eyolf" with the Epic Theatre Company, Kevin in "Wordsworth at the Cherry Lane Theatre, and Alex in The Grille Room, directed by Tony award winner Thomas Kail. He was then asked to play Riley in Lightly Built Bridges, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes at Lincoln Center. The most common reaction these directors have about Mikey's work is that he is a natural actor who can perform comedy as easily as he does drama.Mikey enjoyed playing the role of Donald in the film House of D, written and directed by David Duchovny and starring Robin Williams.Mikey has appeared many times on Saturday Night Live and was a recurring player on "Last Call with Carson Daly" in a children's theatre group that performed weekly. He appeared several times on Late Night with David Letterman. He played Nicky Carlotta in the Law and Order: CI episode titled F.P.S., and then played Kareem Abdul Jabbar in Ed.Mikey moved to Los Angeles in August of 2007 to pursue his acting career. He landed a recurring role as Roger on the ABC show Miss Guided.Mikey is now known for his role on the hit Nickelodeon show Victorious where he plays "Sinjin"In his spare time, he enjoys writing scripts with his best friend Nate Hartley and is proud to be a part of Prodigy Productions, a production company owned and operated by teens. He plays the guitar and has performed with the Hollywood School of Rock in Los Angeles at many venues including The Knitting Factory, The Mint, and Fais Do-Do. He has performed with Billy Ray Cyrus at The Morongo Casino in November of 2008 and jammed at The Mint with Robby Kreiger from The Doors. Show less «
