Maxie Shatoya McClintock was born in Millbrook, Alabama, in 1985. Because her father was in the U.S. Army, Maxie became a world traveler at a very young age.During her father's assignment to Schweinfurt, Germany, Maxie first began to pursue her dream of a career in show business. At 12 years old, she was in a school play at Schweinfurt Elementary, and she knew instantly that she wanted to be an actress.After graduating from high school, Maxie was awarded a scholarship in Theater Performance at Austin Peay State University. Naturally not wanting to pass up such a great opportunity, Maxie accepted the scholarship and returned to the United States.As a senior, Maxie received the prestigious opportunity to intern for The Walt Disney Company in the Communications Program at MGM Studios. Soon after completing her internship, Maxie graduated from APSU in 2003 with a B.A. in Film & Television/Theater. She then moved to Atlanta, the "Hollywood of the South," to work in film. She now studies regularly in New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta to further expand her acting, producing, and technological talents.Maxie is quickly realizing the childhood dream she had to be an actress. She has acted in several short films, including Speed Dial. She premiered on season four of Aspire TV's ABFF Independent in September 2015, and has produced three short films, with plans for more in the future.Most recently, Maxie was introduced to the Alvin and the Chipmunks film franchise as Alice. This latest installment of the franchise, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip, is to be released in December 2015, just in time for the Christmas tradition Alvin, Simon and Theodore have become for many families.
