Mattie Ward

Mattie Ward is an American actor known for dynamic characters often with a strong physical comedic presence and comedic timing. At 6'2 and a US Army Combat Veteran, Mattie also has a strong physical presence commanding attention. Born in Queens NY, Mattie grew up immersed in acting and dreamed of acting and firefighting. Mattie's career goals were diverted after September 11, when Mattie joined the US Army. Now a retired US Army Captain, Mattie has finally returned home to acting and has continued training with the Florida State University Film School taking "acting for the camera" and appearing in over 10 Master Thesis and other student films the past couple of years. While honing their craft, Mattie was also performing in local theater and touring professionally, most recently with the Southern Shakespeare Company, staring as Bottom in A Mid Summer Nights Dream.
