Mary Alice Haney has worked in Media for the last fifteen years. She is a producer, fashion stylist, magazine editor and a TV host. To every project Mary Alice brings her experience and connections in the Entertainment industry as well as her gift of creating a unique visual image. Mary Alice grew up in Chattanooga TN and moved to Los Angeles to earn her MFA in production at the American Film Institute. While in graduate school she worked at Pace Wildenstein/Los Angeles. After graduation she moved to Paris to work as a fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar and continues to have close ties to all the European designers. In Paris she was offered the opportunity to work with famed fashion editor Polly Mellon on all of her celebrity photo shoots in Los Angeles. This opportunity moved her back to Los Angeles and incorporate her film and fashion experiences. After a year of working side by side with Polly she began to style her own editorial shoots and covers. She has been a fashion editor for 12 years for Harper's Bazaar, Allure, GQ and Marie Claire and has worked with every major celebrity including Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Mendez, Vince Vaughn and Blake Lively. As the West Coast editor for Allure, GQ, Domino and Marie Claire magazines, Mary Alice learned to be the ultimate collaborator. At these magazines she produced shoots, booked talent and photographers and then styled the finished photo. She has an editor eye as well as a fashion insider's vision. In addition to her editorial work she has started to work with a few key celebrity clients. Most recently she styled Blake Lively for the Emmy awards. WWD and most media outlets awarded Blake best dressed. In television she became an interpreter of fashion and style as host and expert to several fashion TV shows including the national syndicated show "Ambush Male-Over" , "Good Morning America "and the "Today Show". She has 10 years of experience in broadcast media and she is able to speak the masses and make style and glamor accessible to them. Mary Alice is producing several scripted television shows. A NBC pilot with Mike Deluca producing and Antoine Fuqua directing and an ABC pilot with Reveille. She is also developing a scripted TV show with Jake Paltrow based on Taryn Simon's Photography project, The Innocents. Show less «
