Mariel Sheets

Mariel Sheets was born in Spokane, Washington in July 2005. She began her career at age four doing local voiceover and print, and a national television commercial at age five. Mariel attended a "model camp," and was afterwards invited to attend acting classes with teenagers and adults in preparation for the 2011 IMTA convention in New York City. While still five years old, she won 22 major awards there, including "Child Actor of the Year" and "Most Sought After Female Talent."This led to representation offers and a trip to Los Angeles in January 2012, where she signed with both an agent and manager. Mariel moved to LA in September 2012 with her father, Michael Sheets, an artist and photographer, and her mother, Lynda Sheets, also an artist. She has two adult sisters, one adult brother, and a nephew three years older than she is!Since arriving in LA, she has played a dramatic main character in a film, appeared in national commercials and done VO for television, radio, Internet and an animated feature film.Mariel loves music and singing, reading and making up and acting out her own stories. She roller blades and likes hip-hop and free-form dance, acting classes and even auditions! She is small for her age, and can play younger when needed. Clear-spoken and articulate, she is comfortable with adults and in taking direction. Show less «
