Mariel Aragon was born in Puerto Rico. The only daughter of Mila Aragon, a former theatre and Las Vegas dancer of Filipina descent, and Chinese-American mortuary owner Morris Yick, Mariel has an IQ of 180 and first began taking courses at the University of Southern California as a pre-law, pre-med student at age eleven after taking university courses at John Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. Moreover, Aragon not only speaks English, French, Spanish, Tagalog, Chinese, and Japanese, but also plays the piano, sings, and can read about 5,000 words per minute. Prior to going to college, Mariel attended nursery school, kindergarten, and elementary school, although she was able to skip grades four, six, and eight. In addition, Aragon acted in a handful of television commercials and made guest appearances on a couple on TV shows in the 1970's. She's the great granddaughter Miguel Quezon, who was the first president of the Republic of the Philippines. Show less «
