Maria Petros

Maria Petros, an Armenian often mistaken for a Greek, began her love affair with writing early on in life. She moved to America at the age of 9 with her parents and older brother. This is when she discovered true entertainment in the form of Television and film. Submerged in her love for the field, she declared herself a film major after spending years at a community college. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree, Petros went on to write, produce, direct, and edit her first feature film on a micro-budget. Her efforts were quickly rewarded with a Best Director award at a Hollywood festival and a Best Feature Film nod from Swansea Bay Film Festival in 2007. Show less «
