Margareta is an actress and producer of Hungarian-Greek origins. After graduating out of the University of Theatre and Film Arts (Budapest), she went on to study English literature to Pazmany Peter Catholic University. Margareta had residency in the multi-award winning Budapesti Chamber Theatre. There she played central characters (eg: Chekhov 'Three Sisters') and won Most Promising Newcomer Award in 2007. Margareta performed a variety of characters in critically acclaimed Hungarian movies and prime time Hungarian soaps. She has credits in English language productions: In The Land of Blood and Honey, the Titanic etc. In addition to acting, Margareta enjoys gigging with her gypsy jazz band. In 2012 she moved to England and set up Labor of Love Films. Her first production as a producer 'Hotel Folly-Folie á Deux', a feature documentary about the human cost of the banking crisis.
