Marcus Alvarado is a Los Angeles Native born and Raised. Raised on the outskirts of the City of Angels he was bitten by the acting bug at a young age. At the age of nine he began his theatrical journey, by leading four of his church plays, and 6 of his school plays in elementary school. This is where he knew, that acting was for him. Coming from two supporting Parents they would drive Marcus to his auditions. As he got older he became more focused on school and decided to put professional acting on hold.Still heavily involved in theatre, he starred as a lead in 9 school productions for school, and 14 in total. While focusing on preparing to get into a good college, He discovered his second love, Writing. Throughout High school he wrote numerous short stories, a novel, and three features, and a pilot. After he graduated he attended Point Park University, a small Liberal Arts College in Pittsburgh, PA, where he majored in film. And Just like any college student, he couldn't afford his second year, and this is where he Decided to pursue acting and writing full time. With the full support of his parents he has made a smooth transition. He began to train with Judy Kain for commercials , Amy Lyndon for auditioning techniques, Doug Warhit for scene study, and Pam Murphy at UCB for Improv. Since the summer of 2016, he has booked 7 small roles in Film and TV, and he is currently producing his pilot "Infinitely 21", a dramady about five fresh faced millennials tackling the adult world of the modern age, reminding adults that the future is no longer a distant thought, they're staring at you in the face.
