Born in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, Marc Cedric went west to study music performance first at Central Washington University, then on to the University of Washington. After college, Marc fell into an inadvertent stint as a commercial and fashion model. But split his time in front of the camera and on the Opera stage at San Francisco Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera and Seattle Opera. After a performance with the Seattle Symphony, Marc Cedric was asked to join Hal Prince's First National tour of Show Boat. After touring the US, Canada and a six months run in London's famed West End, he was then off to Chicago for a sit-down production of Ragtime. Then came Secret Garden, The Lion King, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Aida, The Music Man, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aladdin and a 6 and a half years run of Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas. Recently, Marc Cedric has appeared on several TV shows including Sam & Cat with Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy and has 2 films in post-production. He can also be heard on several voice over ads.
