Maral Milani was born and raised in Southern California, as a first generation American. She moved to Los Angeles after high school in order to pursue a B.A. in Acting at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Soon, she landed a guest star role on Disney Channel's Raven's Home and was cast as the lead in Viola Davis and Julius Tennon's show, "Paradise." During her time at UCLA, she made her theatrical debut in shows such as Trojan Women as the Queen of Troy and Dead Man's Cellphone as Hermia. She has also starred in numerous short films such as "Soul Dance", "Whitewash" and the "Vampire Couch Trip." Raised by parents who are political activists, Maral's passion also lies in fighting for equality and supporting human rights' organizations such as CodePink, EqualityNow, and Amnesty International.
