Maisie Smith

Maisie Smith was born in Essex. In 2006, she secured a role in The Other Boleyn Girl. In 2008, she landed the regular role of Tiffany Dean in the UK soap opera EastEnders. Maisie first appeared on the show on 1st April 2008. Maisie has proved very popular with viewers and has many awards nominations and wins. In 2009, she won 'Best Dramatic Performance From a Young Actor or Actress' at the British Soap Awards. Maisie was nominated for the same award in 2010 and 2011. In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Maisie was nominated for 'Best Young Actor' at the Inside Soap Awards. She finally won the award in 2011.Maisie attends Jackwell Junior School in Southend and studies drama at 'Singer Stage School' which she joined in 2005. She has two Jack Russell dogs and two goldfish. Her favourite school subjects are art and drama. She previously enjoyed gymnastics but had to stop going to classes when she joined EastEnders due to a lack of time. Maisie appeared on CITV show 'Bookaboo' in January 2011. Maisie then became the Junior Young ambassador for Bookaboo. Show less «
