Most Likely To Become a Successful Choreographer" is the award Magnus Emaka Einang received when he graduated from London Studio Center with a BA in Dance Theater in 2010.A huge accomplishment considering he was born and raised on the Island of Sandsøy with a population of 300 on the West coast of Norway. Magnus had no access to any dancing facilities on the small island but his determination and passion for dancing palpitated through his entire being, making it an inevitable path.Magnus taught himself how to dance until the age of 16 and by 19yrs old he was training in different disciplines at LSC, perfecting and specializing in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Pas De Deux, Cha Cha, Contact Improvisation, Hip Hop and to widen the scope, acting and singing classes as well.Keeping the values of his grandmother close by at all times, Magnus forged his way into the Dance world with an air of humility and hard work that seemed to meet casting directors at the door. This unique and refreshing quality landed him his first job right out of University in the West End/European Tour of the Michael Jackson Tribute show, Thriller Live, where he stretched even more as a dancer, learning the swing role, as well as, being the MJ cover while wowing the crowds in countries such as Germany, Austria, Paris, Abu Dabi and Singapore. After Thriller Live a wave of credits continued to add to his resume such as: Rita Ora Dizzee Rascal Little Mix Coldplay London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony Footlocker Adidas L'Oreal BlackberryHoping to have just as much luck as he has so far, Magnus has already thought about setting his sights on giving back by forming his company, Foreign Footworks. It's the middle man between the dancer and the job, as well as, the place where people who are Foreign to the craft can go to learn. Magnus travels all around the world teaching workshops, as well as guidance classes to welcome new dancers into the industry. Show less «
