Lou Piniella was known as one of the most durable outfielders in the 1970s. His major league career lasted fro 1964-1984 primarily with Kansas City and later with the New York Yankees. After retirement, Lou moved into management. He managed the New York Yankees for 3 seasons, the Cincinnati Reds for another 3 seasons, eventually leading the 1990 Reds to a World Series Championship.
