Lory Molino is of mixed ancestry which includes Filipino, Italian, Spanish and Moroccan. She often refers to herself as a genetic "mutt". Lory was born in the Philippines but came over to the US when she was three years old when her parents emigrated in 1967 during the wave of professionals that emigrated from the Philippines to the US during that time period. Her father had been the late Lorenzo Molino Jr. of the Molino family from Roxas City in the Philippines, a very prominent family that had been instrumental in financially supporting Osmenio Roxas. Lory's paternal grandmother Julia Isidra Davan had been the first-born daughter to aristocrat Fernando Davan (pronounced as Daban) of Spain. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School of NY, Lory had always had a creative side as well as an intellectual and scientific side. During her younger years Lory studied and performed academic scientific research in the field of Neurobiology, moved in the pharmaceutical industry where she worked for such corporate giants such as SmithKline and Johnson & Johnson while doing small modeling and background acting roles for fun (Twelve Monkeys). Finally tiring of corporate life after 25 years, she began to return to her modeling and background acting (she had taken a hiatus of 20 years following the birth of her children) and re-discovered her passion for the entertainment industry (Creed and Swing Away). Mixed martial arts also play a strong role in Lory's life as her passion for the sport has been her lifestyle. Her love for the sport has kept her active and knowledgeable of the sport since 1998. As a result, she attained a second-degree black belt from Tiger Schulmann's MMA and still continues to train even to this day with no intention of ever slowing down. Acting as a supporter for friends who are professional MMA fighters and as a motivational coach for amateur MMA fighters, she began to travel and make friends which led to a growing solid network of influential people. When invited by Mark Lipsky to be part of WOF Films, Lory gratefully accepted. Lory lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She has 3 children and is enjoying life even more than ever as now a working producer in an industry she enjoys and volunteers her time helping to coach Lakota children and provide self-defense seminars for the women from the Cheyenne River Reservation reservation at the Wolves Den Boxing Club run by tribal chief Joseph Brings Plenty to help a future generation to achieve their dreams and combat the stress of reservation. "I have found my meaningful life" says Lory with respect to her film work, volunteer work with the kids of Wolves Den Boxing Club and her spiritual journey in life. Show less «
