Recent work includes choreographing and performing in The Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony, commissioned by the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, and a tour with British group DV8 Physical Theater for the Olympic Arts Festival in Sydney, London, and Hong Kong. He received a 2002 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and is a 1995 New York Dance and Performance "Bessie" Award winner as "an influential presence in modern dance" for 10 years with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. During that time, he created roles in Still/Here and Last Supper at Uncle Tom's Cabin (both at BAM, and aired on PBS) among many others. Commissioned work with duet company Goldhuber & Latsky presented by The Joyce Theater, The American Dance Festival, The Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris, and many others. Other work includes Journey Beyond the West at BAM, the title role in Golem for the Henson International Puppet Festival, and regular appearances with Keely Garfield's Sinister Slapstick, and at the legendary club Jackie 60.
