A talented actress with increasing success and an unwavering focus on her career, LaFonda Baker, does not hesitate sharing her professional talent with others.After completing her certificate requirements in Early Childhood Education, LaFonda joined the Actor Training Program at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton and decided to pursue acting as a career. Her commitment and resolve has paid off tremendously.Participation in the Actor Training Program led to LaFonda's signing with Cast Images Talent Agency where she landed a role in the film "On The Road" appearing opposite lead actor Sam Riley. During this production, LaFonda was upgraded to a principal role and received her Screen Actors Guild (SAG) eligibility.In 2011; LaFonda wrapped a 3-D crime drama called "Dark Truths", where she played a young mother who would confront any obstacle to protect her child, "Ivy", a period piece set in the 1950's Deep South, and "Capital City Punishment", an improvised dark comedy that she co-produces.In addition to her film and television career, LaFonda has worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento where she created a theater arts program for children ages 6 to 12. The program introduced youngsters to improvisation, scene writing, costume design, live performance, and advertisement.A native of Sacramento, LaFonda believes that faith and hard work go hand in hand and with her work ethic, drive and God's grace, the possibilities of success are endless.
