Kristen Hurt is a Meisnerian-trained actress, model, athlete, and sometimes singer/songwriter. This sassy Southern belle was seen in stage runs of Betrayal Runs Deep and Cheezecake Boiz & the Diva (2014); you can also catch her in season 4 of Discovery Investigation's Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter, and upcoming independent films like Deceive, The Parent Trap 2014, and LIAR, as well as web series such as Celibate in the City, The Hair Next Door, Advocate & Solicitor, and more.Hailing from Eatonton, Georgia, Kristen grew up full of big dreams and even bigger personality. An all-around standout, she took Gifted Education classes, performed in church choirs and school-wide productions, and balanced four sports with a variety of academic/special-interest clubs while maintaining one of the top spots in her class. Kristen later played college basketball on scholarship, and intramural flag football, but her only involvement in the arts was a stint performing in her university theater group.Finally, in summer 2011 Kristen stepped out on faith and into her purpose again, making an impromptu move to Los Angeles; the rest is history. I was a like caged tiger for most of my life. I could only 'flex my claws' in limited and metered circumstances, within specified bounds, similar to a circus animal - wild out in the ring, then back in the cage! Now, I've slipped that cage and I am free to be loud, extra, dramatic - free to just BE. Now, I can do whatever the *expletive* I want, because my show goes wherever I go, and I'm always on.
