She began acting in local theatre productions as a kid growing up; and she appeared in her first big role as a teenager at age nineteen in a student film for Columbia University, located in New York City. In 2016, she was part of the cast of an improvisational theatre performance group. "I am such a deeply emotional person. Acting is like my therapy because I don't like talking to other people about my problems or about my life in general. I am a very private person to everyone, it doesn't matter whether it's someone close to me or a complete stranger. I am an introvert and being able to express myself through the characters I play, there's something very therapeutic about it to me, it really helps me convey myself and direct my emotions in a non-destructive and healthy way.
