Keith J. Obit

Keith J. Obit was born to a middle-class working family in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The young Obit family picked up stakes and moved to sunny Phoenix, Az. in 1983.Having an early interest in acting, he broke the ice in his career auditioning for Free Willy at the young age of 11. Throughout his school years he used his creative energy in numerous bands, writing and playing music since the age of 13. In his mid 20's he established his own recording studio, where he produced his personal work as well as numerous projects for others. Keith continues to hone his skill in guitar, bass, drums and keyboard with diligent practice and academic studies. Some early audio recordings can be found under the band Ghostlife, and he's the lead member of a revolving member project called Astrobit, set to take shape in 2017. His passion for music has never waned, however has recently taken a backseat to his acting ambitions.In late 2015 he made a conscience effort to hit the New Year running. 2016 proved to be very productive gaining experience running slate, boom, lights, and any other crew work he could help out with, which led to over a half dozen credits in extra work as the infamous "Lonely Bar Guy #3".
