A Cast on Netflix Original series "Blood sisters" and new cinema movie releases, She plays Funmilayo Ransome Kuti on the biopic film of the historical African Political figure Funmilayo Ransom Kuti. Kehinde is one of the rare crop of actors from Nigeria who came into limelight After her Tv debut on the Nigerian drama series -Super Story and has bagged multiple awards including winning the "Best Actress, "Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards" AMVCA 2015 for her performance in acclaimed director, Kunle Afolayan's psychological thriller OCTOBER1 movie, her feature film debut as teacher-Tawa, the prime target of a serial killer in 2014 alongside veteran actor Sadik Dabar, Nick Rhys, Fabian Lojede, Lawrence Stubbings and others. That year also saw her sail up on television as seductive housewife Kiki Obi on Desperate Housewives Africa, the Nigerian remake of the hit American series.Kehinde was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, as a twin to both now late architect dad Babatunde Bankole and administrative secretary mum Titilayo Bankole, who encouraged their children to discover life, Art and it's beauty through all its unique forms From a tender age. Kehinde discovered and began informal drama and music training as a young growing girl in Nigeria while also pursuing a career in modeling. She went on to study mass communication in Olabisi Onabanjo University, ogun state Nigeria during which time she began singing professionally in a duo girl band but acting was always the magnetic pull powerful enough to contain all her creative hunger for overall entertainment and ArtKehinde's stage credit includes playing Hermione "Oya" in "The Winter's Tale" at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, adapted as "Itan Oginintin" by Renegade Theatre (2012), The Duchess (Iyalode) in "The Duchess of Malfi" re-imagined as "Iyalode Of Eti" by Utopia Theatre UK (2016), Queen Moremi as Queen Moremi by Terra Kulture Lagos (2019) and her own one woman play "Chronicles Of Iya Risi" produced by Sarah Lawal (Lagos Theatre Festival) 2017. Described as Nigeria's rarest performing, seasoned theatre & Film export, kehinde is an African enthusiast, with a dream for a progressive re-invented African nation. She continued to keep music close and co-voiced the Lux cover-song produced by Cobhams Asuquo used for promotion of the Lux beauty product throughout her ambassadorship as a "Lux Beauty Face" in Nigeria in 2009. Her credit also includes Tv show-host and brand ambassador. Kehinde is very passionate about Africa and believes we are all capable of 'More'.
