With soulful strength in her voice and a myriad of emotion, thought and insight to her words, Katie Gray takes the listener on a musical journey of this tender world and beyond.Katie was born in Washington D.C., raised in Michigan, and has lived in various places in the US including Los Angeles, Austin, TX and Washington's San Juan Islands. After a few of years of studying stage performance and acting, Katie decided to pursue her passion for music and in 2005 befriended a guitar. It was then that the chapter of music opened in her life and she began sharing her thoughts, Love and insights with the world. In 2006, Katie self released her debut album 'From Far Away' and had her song "Set Free" featured on the television show "Bones" on FOX, iTune's Spotlight featured artist compilation as well as radio play on LA's KCRW & Seattle's KEXP.
