His screenplay 'Wanting' was a semi-finalist in Final Draft's 'Big Break' Contest.Kal wrote, directed and co-produced Carousel, receiving nominations for The Crystal Bear at Berlin, Main Prize in the Oberhausen, Best Short at Edinburgh, and Best European Short at Brest.He lives in London.
