Born Jordi Cardus Civit in Erts, Andora, between Spain and France, on Feb 13th 1979. Raised in a small town, La Massana, he finished school at 19 and moved to Los Angeles to become a cinematographer. He studied in Art Center, and then moved to Gnomon School of Visual Effects, where he met inspiring people such as Ramiro Gomez and Frank Gladstone from Dreamworks. After working for different film companies as a consultant, he returned to Barcelona to work on several agencies as an art director and photographer. Later on he returned to Andorra, where he continued working as a freelancer for film and graphic design. At that time, he teamed up with old friend, Jordi Segarra, a Business PR analyst with a major on journalism, to create 'L'extintor' (the extinguisher), a radio show for national audience, which was seen as an instant hit by the media. In October 2003 he moved to London, to work for The Moving Picture Company, in films such as Troy (Wolgang Petersen), Alexander (Oliver Stone) and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (Tim Burton).
