Jonathan Michael Mora is an American actor, musician, writer, visionary and film maker. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Puerto Rico, His career started with music- learning to play guitar at the age of 9. Throughout his teenage hood, he would perform in family gatherings, start small bands and in high school perform in talent shows. Aside from guitar playing, he would be asked to perform for his school's theater productions. After graduating from high school with the hopes and dreams of going to Berklee College of Music, his parents enforced that he'd pursue science and the military instead, which didn't turn out to be a success because of his failing grades, and two screws in his ankle that wouldn't let him enlist in any branch. After two years of attempting at pursuing biology and mathematics in the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico, he moved back to New York City and transferred to Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology to become a commercial pilot, which backfired when he wasn't able to afford flight school. After strongly being suggested to pursue modeling, which wasn't in his interest, he was asked to participate in the college's commercial which launched his burning fire to pursue film and television. His first film gig was as an extra for "How to be single" starring Dakota Johnson, in which as soon as he had arrived to the set, him along with a few other extras were gathered and presented to the director to see if he would be selected to dance with Leslie Mann's character. Although he wasn't selected and was sent home afterwards, in that moment he felt his calling was acting.Jonathan Michael Mora created his acting "brand" and stage name called J. Michael, and wanted to present a diverse image and not a stereotype to the current Hollywood era. He will be appearing for minor roles such as on the feature film "Rough Night" featuring Scarlett Johansson and Kate McKinnon as a busboy who gives Ilana Glazer cocaine, and on the Latino soap opera "Guerra de Idolos" as a music producer. Additionally, he has appeared on several commercials, performed as a musician on Gotham, and collaborated for a music video with Printz Board. During the 2016 election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, he appeared on MTV News on an election special called "The People's Playhouse" in which he gave his hearty opinion of how regardless of the outcome of the election, the voice of the American people is what was most valid.
